This morning, the Government Sub-delegation in Soria activated the institutional machinery to coordinate security for one of the most important astronomical events of recent decades. The meeting held today laid the groundwork for the special operation for the so-called 'Trio of Eclipses' (2026-2027-2028), establishing August 12, 2026, as the absolute priority, the day on which the province will experience a total solar eclipse. However, the number of people who might come to Soria attracted by the event remains a mystery, a figure difficult to calculate given the lack of precedents.
