The solar eclipse on August 12th is the major event of the year, and the Soria City Council has been working for some time on preparations for the event, anticipating a large influx of people to Soria due to the exceptional conditions the city's skies will offer for observing the phenomenon. The Councilor for Tourism, Yolanda Santos, explained that for an event of this magnitude, their primary concern is not so much the "promotion," which will nevertheless be undertaken, but rather the management of the event itself. The City Council's plan is to take advantage of the privileged natural environment of Valonsadero to create different observation areas , prepared to accommodate between 20,000 and 30,000 people, as the councilor explained.
